Back to the writing of a novel!

So a few nights ago i stumbled upon an intersesting and quite curious discovery.... I discovered that in wordpad you could write real .ipsw files..(of course i suck at coding them but its still very possible!) So i thought if you write an .IPSW where you could turn the sytem of trust off at the source you could potentially jailbreak the iPod touch 2G

(this is only a theory and im going to investigate more!!!!!!!!)

HI

The way this could work is that instead of searching for endless amounts of time for a vulnerablity in the bootrom or LLB or NOR you could make your own hole in the system. so if you send a command to the Bootrom telling it to stop running code signature checks on restore and boot you could make it so you could patch the LLB, NOR, iBoot, and the kernel without a singal code rejection! (bear in mind im just stating a theory and that it would take to much development for me to do!) these would bve encoded/encrypted in the .IPSW's system files to modify the hardware. only problem is ,the IMG3 files cant run custom code for now until ported making a jailbreak utterly useless! so wait patiently iPod touch 2G users, because its not as easy as it sounds!
